The United Methodist Men and United Methodist Women
meet together on the second Sunday of each month at 7:30 a.m. to share breakfast and devotions.

The United Methodist Men

The United Methodist Men hosts the Ice Cream Social held during the first Saturday in August. The menu for the social is Homemade Chicken & Noodles, mashed potatoes,green beans,cole slaw,dinner rolls, homemade pies,cakes and drinks. We also have Homemade Vanilla, Black Walnut and Lemon ice cream all for a freewill donation. The proceeds from this social go towards the many outreach programs that the church contibutes to.
The Men also plan work projects at a local United Methodist Church camp or at the church to help with maintenance projects.
All men of the church are invited to join.

The United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women hosts the Spring Supper in April and the Harvest Supper in October held at Norris Chapel's fellowship hall. Each event is usually held on the third Saturday of the respective month.The proceeds from these suppers help support the many missions worldwide that The United Methodist Women organization supports as well as the those local outreach programs in our community.
The women also plan one day get away events for social time and for spiritual renewal, such as The Women of Faith, Heritage Keepers, visiting The Bashor Home, The Lucille Raines Home, or get together for day of craft bazars for some fun.
